Big Money Monaco!

Woke up at a good time this morning for breakfast and so we could head to Monaco for the day. The boys were fast asleep and we tried to wake them so they could eat but they were not having any of it. So we got showered and ready for the beach and the room started to really heat up from the sun. The boys all woke up sweating and hungover. We chatted for awhile before Heather and I went to catch the train to Monaco. The boys were up to the same thing but were going to the famous casino first to try and earn a bit of money. So we said we would catch up later and maybe see them at the beach. We took the train to Monaco and as soon as we arrived, you could smell the money everywhere. There were Bentley’s, Ferrari’s, Porsche’s, Rolls Royce everywhere. It was mad! We walked along the harbour and the yacht’s were crazy too. They were everywhere and massive. Big money country for sure! So we walked down to the casino. It was really busy and really nice. We thought it would be much bigger than it was but was really cool to look at anyhow. We then headed down the beach, grabbed some lunch (not cheap either) and laid out in the sun. The beach was made of stones but it was nice out anyhow plus we had to swim in the Mediterranean. We stayed and chilled on the beach for a while and headed back after 5 when it started to cool down. We trained back to Nice and went to get changed and ready for the night. The Aussie boys were there too and they had won some cash at the casino. One of them won 90 euro and the other 200. They had an overall good day! We ended up joining up with them downstairs for drinks and drinking Uno. We ended up playing a massive game of Uno and just chilling at the hostel. They had canned pints for 1 euro and the place was pretty chill so we just stayed at the hostel for the night and stayed up pretty late which would not fare well in the morning when we have to catch the train by 930. Oh well!!!
